I haven't done drafting in 2? years so it was certainly a struggle and I ended up with a messed up pattern. The pieces meet edge to edge, which is not ideal for an overlapping design, but it just meant I could save myself from doing hand done buttonholes and do hook and eyes on the edge for a cleaner, modern look.
